Cars parked on ice near Chicago start to sink as it melts

Bizarre footage has emerged from Lake Geneva in Walworth County, Wisconsin, US of cars that were parked on a frozen lake slowly sinking as the weather warmed this weekend.

The video, captured on Saturday, shows one driver trying valiantly to retrieve his SUV as the numerous vehicles slowly sink into the lake.
