Delhi Police conducted a series of mock-drills in South Delhi to check the alertness of the security forces ahead of Republic Day.
Amid a high alert situation, security across the national capital has been stepped up. The two mock-drills were conducted at Hauz Khas village and Khan Market. Bomb disposal squads, quick response teams, emergency response vehicles, dog squads, fire tenders, ambulances etc. were kept in loop during the exercise, whose prime objective was to check the alertness of the security forces amid a high alert situation.
