Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a car smashing into three other vehicles and several bikes after ploughing through a residential area.

The video, captured on CCTV in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province last Friday, shows the car running through the community, seemingly out-of-control and smashing into the bikes and cars. Rubbish and fruit is also thrown onto the floor during the series of crashes.

According to local reports, the police are still investigating the incident.
