Apple is reportedly getting serious about ditching the headphone jack in its next iPhone, and is working on new cordless Beats headphones for you to buy instead.
The tech giant is developing Beats headphones that connect to a phone via bluetooth and won't have any cords at all, according to a new report from 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman .
Rumors are circulating that Apple is thinking about leaving off the headphone jack from the iPhone 7, a dramatic change to make the phone ever thinner.
Gurman says Apple's testing three different kinds of iPhone 7 prototypes; and a recent Fast Company article says the iPhone 7 might be waterproof and have wireless charging functionality, similar to the Apple Watch.
