SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA — Federal agents are seeking the public's help in investigating a 18-minute period after shooters killed 14 people during the ISIS-inspired massacre at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California last month.

According to Los Angeles Times, shooters Syred Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik drove back and forth within a large L-shaped area between San Bernardino and Redlands after the shooting.

The duo also went to Lake Seccombe in San Bernardino about 45 minutes after the shooting, David Bowdich assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles officer told the Los Angeles Times, but their whereabouts between 12:59 p.m. to 1:17 p.m. remain unknown.

"So why is that 18 minutes so important? It's important because we want to know whether they stopped at any locations…whether they made contact with anyone," the Wall Street Journal quoted Bowdich as saying.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the duo also allegedly planned to explode pipe bombs and open fire at Riverside City College's cafeteria. They also allegedly plotted a rush hour shooting on the California State Route 91 freeway.
