Man arrested for stabbing dog after animal bit his daughter, Mumbai - Tv9 Gujarati

The Pant Nagar police arrested a man for attacking a stray dog. The accused allegedly stabbed the dog in a fit of rage after it bit his daughter.
The man has been identified as Dinesh Singh, who works as a cable operator in Chembur. He was arrested under section 429 (mischief by killing or maiming cattle, etc, of any value or any animal of the value of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code along with section 11 (A) under Animal Cruelty Act. The accused was arrested at 8.30 pm, following which he was released on a bail of Rs 5,000 immediately.
