FedEx Under Fire for Failing to Make All its Deliveries

FedEx is being hit hard on social media by its customers from the U.S. for missing everything between foods and clothes.
On some social media sites, people wrote they would be reluctant to purchase from a company that uses FedEx as their shipper.
The shipping company said in a prepared statement that it ran an expanded operation trying to deliver all its packages that had not been delivered on time, delivering those that did not make it on Christmas Eve, on both Christmas Day and the following day along with their normal Saturday deliveries.
Packages that were bound for different residences were given a priority said the company.
The efforts to complete its deliveries for Christmas reflect how much online ordering has increased this holiday shopping season and how time sensitive each of those shipments becomes.
FedEx said that a much heavier than planned last minute online rush increased the number of packages adding to their delays.
