Amazon has announced plans to start drone deliveries of parcels to UK customers within 60 minutes of ordering. This drone delivery service will begin trials in a single unspecified UK location by the end of 2024. Eligible customers will be able to order thousands of qualifying lightweight items for drone delivery, including cleaning and personal care products. The drones will make deliveries to customers' backyards after locating designated drop-off markers.
