Shiv Sena corporator from Ambarnath Ramesh Gunjal was stabbed to death in broad daylight in his constituency and the political tension it caused forced the administration to declare a day-long bandh in the area.
Police have registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of IPC and they are investigating the case from all possible angles.
