COP21 Agreement Nears Completion, But Differences Remain
  • 8 years ago
Leaders of 195 countries meeting at the CIOP21 Climate Change summit in Paris are nearing agreement on a final accord, but differences remain. Among them are issues such as climate-induced human mobility and the women and climate change. Three-quarters of the 26 million people displaced since 2010 due to climate change are women. The draft agreement includes programs to enable vulnerable communities to resist the effects of climate change and support for relocation efforts when needed. Luis Arroyo reports from Paris. teleSUR
