Brazil: Congressional Ethics Committee May Investigate Cunha

Brazil’s congressional Ethics Committee will decide this Wednesday whether or not to investigate the Speaker of the Lower House, Eduardo Cunha, who is leading the impeachment process against President Dilma Rousseff. Dozens protested as the Committee debated. Cunha has been accused by the Attorney General of being involved in a large scale corruption scandal involving state funds from the state-run Petrobras. He is also reportedly being investigated by Switzerland with regards to two accounts linked to the scandal. teleSUR
