Dhjetë muaj pas vrasjes se të afërmve të tyre, familjarët e viktimave të 21 janarit kanë kërkuar nga prokuroria të mësojnë se si po ecën hetimi. Përmes avokatëve të tyre, vëllezërit e Ziver Veizit dhe Hekuran Dedës, i kanë dërguar një kërkese prokurorisë për të marrë informacion për dosjen hetimore, por pas refuzimit nga ana e akuzës familjaret i janë drejtuar gjykatës që të urdhëroje prokurorinë për ti vene ne dijeni ne lidhje me hetimet.

Prokuroria shton se procedimi i fajtoreve është një detyrim ligjor dhe nuk varet ne asnjë moment dhe rrethane, nga kërkesa e personit te dëmtuar apo trashëgimtareve ligjore te tij.
