A great video has emerged from China of firefighters saving a pregnant cow that got trapped at the edge of a manhole.

In the footage, filmed during the rescue in Guizhou Province last week, fire officers can be seen using a crane to lift the giant creature out of danger.

According to local news, the 400kg animal was initially unable to move after the rescue and rested on the ground for a few minutes before later taken back home by her owner.
