Four-Year-Old Has Bobby Pin Removed From Kidney

A four-year-old boy in Saudi Arabia underwent surgery to have a bobby pin removed from his kidney after enduring months of pain. He's since fully recovered.

When children swallow foreign objects, they usually pass it right through. 
But one four-year-old boy in Saudi Arabia recently had a bobby pin lodged in his right kidney for over three months. 
The boy swallowed the hair accessory about a month before any symptoms occurred. 
Eventually, he began to experience pain in his right flank and upper right quadrant. 
He was taken to a medical facility where the bobby pin was discovered. Doctors there said it would pass through naturally.
