An amusing video has emerged of a man making the most out of a flooded street in Acireale, Sicily, Italy.

The footage, shot last week, shows Vincenzo Profeta enjoying a cocktail at a café in Speedos before he pretends to swim in the flood water.

"Sometimes in Sicily you don't need to go to the beach to have a swim," Profeta later wrote online.
