Argentina, Bolivia Sign 3 Energy Agreements

Argentine and Bolivian authorities signed three energy agreements yesterday. The agreements will allow Argentine to import electricity from Bolivia and pave the way for Argentina's YPF oil company to conduct hydrocarbon exploration in Bolivian oil fields. The deals will also enable the transfer of nuclear technology for medical purposes from Argentina to Bolivia. By the end of the 2020s, Bolivia is expected to have the capacity to export up to 9,000 megawatts of electricity and Argentina could be a major market for its output. teleSUR
