Facebook launched filters for the social network's On This Day feature allowing users to remove memories from specific people or a certain time period.
The feature includes status updates, photos and other News Feed content packaged in an On This Day hub, so users can view what happened on this day a year ago or longer.
While most of those memories may include happy moments such as the birth of a child or when people first became friends through Facebook, it can also conjure up sad memories such as the passing of a loved one.
