US: University Sues CIA to Obtain Documents on El Salvador War Crimes

The University of Washington Center for Human Rights is suing the CIA to obtain classified documents on war crimes committed during the El Salvador civil war. The lawsuit, filed under the Freedom of Information Attack, charges the CIA with illegally witholding documentation related to U.S. backed retired Salvadoran military officer Sigifredo Ochoa Pérez, involved in the 1981 Santa Cruz massacre and other human rights violations and currently under criminal investigation. teleSUR
