Victims and their families on both sides of the Colombian armed conflict hailed the agreement announced in Havana on Wednesday as a major and historical step toward peace. The agreement, on transitional justice and reparations for victims of the armed conflict, will prosecute those responsible for crimes committed during the civil war.
