Reservation has been one of the major issues in India while some have always been demanding their share in it, others have been opposing it. However, the reservation debate became hot recently when Patel community led by Hardik Patel rolled out massive support demanding reservation for them. Amid reservation demands, Gujarat government has announced a special scheme for general category students from the economically weaker section.
