United States – Pope Expected to Draw Large Crowds in DC

The most important religious event during Pope Francis’ visit to Washington DC will be the canonization of Spanish missionary Junipero Serra at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Due to the large turnout expected, alerts have been sounded for traffic and public transportation delays. An estimated 50,000 Latinos will be in the nation’s capital and many of them will take part in the #Walk with Francis to support the Pope’s messages. Bianca Perez reports from Washington for teleSUR.
