It is undeniable that the legendary Bob Marley, who would have been 70 this year, is one of the main reasons that reggae first crossed all borders, gaining worldwide popularity.
To commemorate this date Rototom and Middleground, presented “Cantando a Marley”, in collaboration with various Spanish artists, a show on the Main Stage of the festival in which all the guest artists payed homage in their own way to the king of reggae.
This unique event not was limited to normal covers of Marley’s biggest hits, but contains versions of songs prepared especially for the event, which reflect the artists’ relationship with reggae and with Bob Marley, in their own personal styles. This is a unique opportunity to listen to Mala Rodríguez, Amparo Sánchez, Roberto Sánchez, Sr. Wilson, Payoh SoulRebel and Salda Dagó, accompanied by The Blackstarliners.
