Ahmedabad: Lokmanya Tilak Baug (Victoria Garden), situated at Lal Darwaja area of the city , was gutted in a fire resulting in the loss of ornamental plants besides damaging the park. The fire erupted last night and spread to the grass and other vegetation in the park. Fire fighters rushed to the site and controlled the fire, preventing it from spreading to the remaining portion of the park. The reason of the fire is unknown. Police has started investigation.
