The opposition People's National Movement (PNM) and its candidate for primer minister, Keith Rowley, won Monday's elections in Trinidad and Tobago. The PNM won 23 of the country's 41 constituencies and will now be charged with forming a new government and presenting a budget. The ruling People's Partnership party will now become the opposition, having won only 18 seats, down from 29. Disgraced former FIFA executive Jack Warner's Independent Liberal Party failed to gain a single seat in parliament. teleSUR
