Ahmedabad: The Gujarat University is in process of uploading research theses under Shodhganga project of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Shodhganga is a repository of theses and dissertations submitted to the universities in the country that is hosted and maintained by IFLIBNET Centre, an autonomous inter-university centre of the UGC. Uploading the PhD theses submitted by students in the repository has been mandatory since 2009 to root out plagiarism and to share knowledge. For the project, UGC has granted Rs 20 lakh to the Gujarat University.
