Skyrocketing onion prices bring tears to the eyes of common man - Tv9 Gujarati

Rajkot: After pulses and edible oil, the price of Onion has skyrocketed in the city market. Poor man's favorite vegetable, onion was available for Rs 20 per Kg but now, it is priced at Rs 70-80 per kg in retail market. According to the traders, the price of onions is expected to go up further by the end of this week due to shortage of supply.
