200 Palestinian Prisoners in Israeli Jails Declare Hunger Strike

Over 200 Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli prisons declared an open-ended hunger strike, known as the Revolution of the Empty Stomachs, earlier today. They are demanding an end to the Law on Administrative Detention and an improvement in prison conditions, including education and family visits. Meanwhile, Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Allan awoke from a coma induced by his 65 day hunger strike. Israel announced he would be released on November 3. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza. teleSUR
