Noh Omar says the Coalition of Malaysian NGOs for the Universial Periodic Review process (Comango) bid to lobby the United Nations for LGBT rights in Malaysia is a security threat as it could spark religious conflict.

Noh caused an uproar when he told PKR's Nurul Izzah Anwar that he "is not sure if she supports sodomy or not".
