Erdogan’s gamble: Turkey launches offensives on PKK and Islamic State Group (part 2)

Turkey finally decided to join the struggle against the Islamic State group, launching bombing raids, allowing US aircraft to use Turkish air bases, and tightening security on the Syrian border. The bad news is that President Erdogan is also using it as an opportunity to carry out an aerial bombing of Turkey's long-standing enemy, the Kurdish militant group PKK. Meanwhile French foreign minister Fabius went to Iran, and plane debris, suspected to be from MH370, washed up on Reunion island.
