Minted Man Cocktail Recipe - Le Gourmet TV

Like so many other contemporary cocktails where Vodka has replaced the original spirit - The Minted Man is essentially a Mojito, made with Vodka instead of Gin, without soda and with a few cucumber slices thrown in for good measure. Got it? Who cares - I'll be on the porch waiting for you to bring one over.
INGREDIENTS
1 oz Simple syrup
3 Cucumber slices
4 Mint leaves
1.5 oz Vodka
1 oz Fresh lime juice
Garnish: Mint sprig
Glass: Highball
Method:
In a shaker; gently muddle the cucumber, mint & simple syrup. Add the vodka and lime juice, and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
