A rich man Dharamdas (Satyendra Kapoor) marries Tara (Seema Deo), they have a son, Moti, but his business isn't doing well. His assistant Bihari (Jeevan) makes him feel that his wife is the bad luck for him. Tara and her son are asked to leave by Dharamdas. Tara alone looks after Moti and renames him as Jeetu (Vinod Mehra), and they live in a slum area. Time goes by and Jeetu is a grown up now. He studies engineering and gets a job as a mechanic with Alibhai Motorwala (Rajendra Nath). Then he meets Kamini (Bindiya Goswami) and falls in love with her who also comes from a poor family. One day Kamini's brother, Pyarelal (Amjad Khan Voice) is killed by someone who hides in his house, sheltered by an unknowing Mrs. Pyarelal (Indrani Mukherjee). Kamini her bhabhi that she loves Jeetu and want to marry him. Both of them goes to Jeetu's house in order to arrange the marriage. Tara already likes Kamini and approves of her. Just then Jeetu enters the room and is seen by Kamini's bhabhi - who then recognizes him as the man she sheltered, and who killed her husband. Pain of love runs through Kamini and she refuses to believe Jeetu. He is arrested by the police now and sentenced to be hanged. Don't you want to know why Jeetu killed Pyarelal?
