Woman takes own life, partner stabs self

MANILA -- A woman allegedly committed suicide in Manila before dawn on Wednesday.
The woman, identified as Ruby Villanueva, was found dead inside their home in Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila by her live-in partner, Ricky Bedonio. Cause of death was by hanging.
Villanueva was declared dead on arrival in Sta. Ana Hospital.
Shocked by his partner's death, Bedonio then stabbed his neck using a shard of glass inside the hospital's emergerncy room.
Bedonio was tied to a hospital bed to prevent him from hurting himself. He is now in safe condition. -- report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
