JetBlue emergency slide deploys mid flight, plane diverted to Orlando

A JetBlue flight was diverted to Orlando, Florida when an emergency slide deployed mid flight on Wednesday (November 20). No one was injured.

There were 73 passengers and four crew members on board The Embraer E-190 Aircraft at the time of the incident. Flight 1266 took off from Fort Myers, Florida and was originally bound for Boston, Massachusetts.

The aircraft made a safe landing at the Orlando International Airport around 3:45 p.m. ET. Passengers were led off the flight through a rear exit, and were assigned to a later flight to Boston.
