JetBlue Ends Service to Kansas City, Trims Routes Amid Network Reorganization
  • last month
JetBlue is ending all service to and from Kansas City, Missouri as part of a broader network reorganization. The carrier is also trimming routes from Los Angeles International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida. JetBlue will not return to Newburgh, New York, after suspending service there during the pandemic. The changes come after JetBlue's proposed merger with Spirit Airlines was rejected in court. The airline has also struggled financially this year with revenue declines, losses, and maintenance issues grounding planes.
