Two robbers die in Malaysia after crashing a stolen car into a lorry

Two Malaysian robbers died after they crashed a stolen into a lorry in Kampung Temin on Wednesday.

According to reports, a 22-year-old woman working with Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysiawas, a microcredit organization, was on her rounds collecting loan payments, when her car was blocked by a Proton Wira with three men inside.

Two of the men got out of the car, one holding a parang, and forced her to exit her vehicle, the New Straits Times reported.

After driving away in the woman's car, the robbers collided head-on with a lorry near Sungai Siput.

Two of the robbers were killed, one at the scene, the other one in a local hospital where he was transferred after the accident.

The third escaped in the other vehicle.

After arriving at the scene, police recovered an undisclosed amount of cash from the stolen car.

Police are now trying to track down the third suspect who fled the scene.

The woman victim of the robbery was unharmed, the New Straits Times reported.
