Stabbed to death: jealous wife chops off husband's junk

A 55-year-old woman surnamed Liu stabbed her husband to death and chopped off his penis on July 15 because she thought he was being unfaithful, even putting the severed appendage into his right hand after the deed was done.

Apparently, Liu suffered from insomnia, for which she took sleeping pills. The medication allegedly made her lose control of her emotions and behavior, which was the reason she gave for killing her husband.

In the hopes of escaping punishment, Liu swallowed 10 more of her sleeping pills and covered her face with cling wrap in an attempt to commit suicide, but failed. She was arrested and charged with murder.
