Inkland Bodyart Britain's most tattooed man had skull implanted into his chest
  • 9 years ago
After changing his name to Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite and getting tattoos on over 90 percent of his body, the 34-year-old formerly known as Mathew Whelan has now had a silicon skull implanted into his chest.

For around $475 USD, Bart had a silicone-filled ball with a raised skull motif placed subdermally.

Bart, who initially declined the topical anesthesia, described the incision as therapeutic. The skull was then pushed into his chest.

For now the skull looks more like a lump. But over the course of the next year, the flesh will tighten giving the impression of a head pushing through his skin.
