Disney World lamborghini accident: Cops say driver lost control, spun 3 times before fatal crash

Disney is closing the Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway for more than two weeks following a fatal car crash over the weekend.
The announcement comes after Gary Terry, a senior operations manager, driving instructor at the attraction, died in a crash Sunday, when a Lamborghini being driven at high speed by a customer lost control and crashed into a guard rail.
The driver, 24-year old Tavon Watson and Terry were both wearing headgear and lap and shoulder belts at the time of the crash, the New York Daily News reported.
Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes told the News that Watson failed to maneuver the vehicle through the course while travelling at an estimated speed of 100 mph. He added that the in-car camera showed that the vehicle then spun three times before the passenger side struck the guardrail, killing Terry.
“There have been some questions about the placement on the guardrail,” Montes told the News. Officials have specifically focused on the placement of the guardrail in relation to the clockwise direction of the track.
