Crocodile caught: watch police in Australia capture 4.3 meter croc - TomoNews

Australian police in the Northern Territory have released video showing the capture of a 4.3-meter crocodile.

Following reports of a troublesome crocodile that was stalking fishermen and taking dogs, the Northern Territory Police Force in March set out traps to capture the creature.

The video shows police hauling the trap to a boat ramp. The crocodile’s huge jaws are taped shut.

Police said the animal will be taken to the Darwin Crocodile Farm, where it will be used as part of the farm’s breeding program.
