Ahmedabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced The National Electoral Roll Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPA) with a view to eliminate duplication and erroneous deletions in electoral rolls across the country. The ECI has taken a step to clean up the nation’s electoral rolls and wipe out irregularities. Therefore, the booth-level officers would visit voters' houses from 16 April to 15 June for the information updation process.
