Wasco the creepy clown copycat sightings continue in Kern County California

The police in Bakersfield, California are being inundated with reports of people being freaked out by creepy clowns, some of which are armed.
The most recent sighting was Monday when a woman told ABC she saw a masked clown in the car next to her, but having seen the various news reports, the woman says she was not frightened.
Other reports came in over the weekend including a case Saturday night in a neighborhood near West High school where police received a call of a person dressed as a clown brandishing a weapon, but when officers arrived at the scene, nothing was found.
One 14-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of annoying a minor after taking the prank too far. Authorities said he dressed as a clown and chased some children down the street, leaving one of them “visibly shaken.”
The teen admitted to copying the “Wasco Clown” that has shown up on social media recently. The Wasco Clown is reportedly a husband and wife art project that has popped on social media sites including INstagram. art project.
