Cute police dog fired for being crappy K9 unit, unfit for police work/buddy comedy

Quick, which dog makes the best police K9?
If you said German Shepherd, you’d be … Wrong! It’s a Belgian Malinois. The breed is so smart that even the German police are abandoning their trusty shepherds in favor of the Belgian import. But even a class of K9 all stars is bound to have one doggy dunce. In Cannon Beach, Oregon, that dunce was a 2-year-old pooch named Cash, who was fired for incompetence in October.
Belgian Malinoises are the prefered police dogs for sniffing drugs and biting perps, but throughout training, Cash the K9 consistently fell behind the pack. He was afraid of heights. He was afraid of loud noises. And instead of sniffing drugs like a proper police dog, he just barked like crazy.
In the end, Cash was kicked out of the police dog academy. But hey, no badge also means no heartbreaking death scene where you take a bullet for your comedically mismatched partner.
