In a real life re-enactment of “Chicken Little” it seemed as though a piece of the sky fell down and hit this poor woman.

In Hong Kong, a migrant worker from Indonesia, was stuck by a slab of concrete that fell off the building next to her residence.

Elis, age 33, had legally entered Hong Kong and was working as a maid. That evening she excused herself to her roommates and went to her room for her evening prayers.

A concrete slab on the outside of the building besides her residence fell off and crashed through the roof, landing on her. Elis’s roommates came to investigate and saw that she was trapped beneath the concrete slab. Miraculously, despite being hit by the huge concrete slab Elis was still alive and was rushed to hospital where she is now in stable condition.

Police have marked off the area of Elis’s bed, removed her blood stained mattress, and are still investigating what seems to be an unfortunate accident.

Remember to look to the heavens next time you pray.
