US Special Envoy arrives in Havana for Colombia peace talks

US Special Envoy Bernard Aronson arrived in Havana where he has already held a closed door meeting with the Colombian peace delegations. While details of the meetings has been released, it is believed that one of the issues addressed could have been the presence of extradited Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) activist Simon Trinidad in a US prison. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos said he might intercede to prevent further extraditions, as no one will be willing to give up arms as part of the peace process if they fear they will end up in a US jail.
