The man engaged a worker at a local business called Holly’s Gas. The employee, Justin Ireland takes his dog, Thor to work and his loyal pooch stayed by his side during the encounter.
Things started out civil enough and Thor's tail was wagging as they met the stranger by the door. The male asked to use the phone but after being told he couldn't, he forced his way into the office, demanded money and pushed Ireland.
Once the robber got violent, the dog started exhibiting signs of aggression and made it very clear he would protect his owner. Thor lunged at the male, who abruptly took off when he realized he wasn't getting any money without a fight.
