More protests near Ferguson after police shoot and kill young black man

Tensions erupting early Wednesday near Ferguson, Missouri -- another black man shot by a police officer and citizens once again expressing outrage -- this time in Berkeley, just two miles away
But police say this shooting is different -- the officer investigating a reported theft at a convenience store, approaching 18-year old Antonio Martin...who pulled out a gun, prompting the officer to fire
(SOUNDBITE) (English) ST. LOUIS COUNTY POLICE CHIEF JON BELMAR SAYING:
"I think this is, really underscores the task that our police officers across the nation have to deal with day in and day out and they answer those calls for our community."
This incident partly captured on video -- police saying it shows Martin pulling out his weapon
Local news found a woman claiming to be Martin's mother -- whose story was quite different
She says Martin was just walking with his girlfriend when the police started "messing with him."
