Altaf Hussain demand government to provide security to MQM leaders in Punjab: Altaf Hussain

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain demanded the government to provide security to the party leaders in Punjab as they are being threatened, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.

The MQM leaders are being openly threatened in Punjab, Altaf asserted adding however, the government is dillydallying to take up the security measures.

The Muttahida chief called upon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and ISI chief to provide security to the party leaders.

“In case any worker was harmed in Punjab, protest will be mounted. The responsibility for the harm to the workers will rest on the Punjab government,” he added.
