Obama eases financial restrictions on Cuba

US President Barack Obama announced the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba and the open of embassies is each country's respective capital, the easing of financial and travel restrictions, a review of the State Department's designation of Cuba's as a sponsor of terrorism, and other significant changes.
