The Mars Orbiter Mission successfully sent a probe to the red planet, Mars on 24/09/204 at 7:17 AM.
The Mangalyaan will navigate the planet to detect possibilities of life and vegetations and other surface features.
This makes India the fourth country to send a probe to Mars.
