US, Peshmerga work together to neutralise Islamic State fighters

The US has dropped aid for tens of thousands of Yazidis trapped on a desert mountain top in Sinjar. Kurdish security forces say they've managed to open a road to the mountain - and have rescued more than 5,000 people. But Islamic State fighters are far from defeated. Can Kurdish fighters stop their advance? Al Jazeera's Jane Araf reports from Erbil.
